- I am using SS, with system 7.1. After I got the partition set up and
- working, the first thing I installed was the software that comes with
- the book (and video):'Internet Starter Kit' for Mac, or something like
- that. I went through the install (you have to load Stuffit first -
- although it is an .SEA it crashes when you try self-extraction.). I did
- the default 'full' install, and after some time it just locked up.
- When I restarted (had to power down), the entire hard drive partition
- was trashed - I have to re-initialize and reinstall the system. My question
- is: has anyone used this software and made it work? I don't want to fry
- the HD again!
